If student testers experience a network interruption during a session, this is what you can expect.
<90 Seconds
If the network connection is interrupted for less than 90 seconds, the student(s) will continue in their assessment session and will not know they ever lost network.
>90 Seconds
If the network connection is interrupted for more than 90 seconds, the student(s) will receive a message on their screen that stops them from continuing. The student should not close the browser. Once the network connection issue is resolved, the student(s) assessment session will start up automatically.
If the assessment needs to be resumed at another time, have the student(s) exit the assessment by closing their browser. The proctor will need to reseat the students before they can log back into the assessment. When the student(s) log back into the session, they will resume where they left off.
Example Error Message
