- If the class is set with 05, 06, 07 or 08 in the Grades column, then you don't need to modify the class.
- If the class 'Grades' column shows something like '2 Grades' or '3 Grades' (something other than 05, 06, 07 or 08) then continue.
- Navigate in ADAM to Rostering | Classes
- Find a multi-graded class and click the edit button
- Decide what one grade should be assigned to the class. Click the x next to the grade you need to remove
NOTE: The grade on the class determines the test these kids will be given. If the class is assigned to both 6th grade and 7th grade, then the students will be enrolled to take both the 6th grade and 7th grade tests. Enrollments into Administrations are based on the grade(s) on the class...not the grade of the student.
- Select the Edit Enrollment button to see the modify options
- Remove all the students from the class that belong in a differently 'graded' class by clicking the delete button (looks like a red trash can)
- Click the Save Enrollment button to save the student updates.
- Once all the students in the class have the same grade as the Grade designation for the class, click the Submit button on the class.
